Qiuhai Yue and Randi Martin (along with former research scientist Cris Hamilton and Notre Dame Psychology Professor Nathan Rose) have a new paper out supporting a buffer model of phonological short term memory using a rich combination of fMRI methods. It will be published at Cerebral Cortex and is a wonderful paper!
